The S24 Back Plane Tester (BPT) is a flying probe test system designed specifically for testing back planes, that is, electronic boards populated prevalently by various types of connectors, but which may also include passive and electronic components. Thanks to its special automatic conveyor, the system can accept back planes of practically any length, while the maximum width is 610 mm (24"). The system is equipped with 4 electrical measurement probes, two on the top side and two on the bottom side of the board under test, plus a fifth OpenFix probe on the top side, allowing simultaneous testing of connectors (male and female) and other components distributed on both sides of the board.
